Tacsat-2 Launched from Wallops This Morning


Tacsat-2 and GeneSat-1 were launched this morning aboard the Minotaur-1 rocket from the Mid Atlantic Regional Spaceport (aka Wallops island) at 1200 UTC (7:00 am EST). Preliminary information indicates that the satellites were placed into a 410 km circular orbit inclined 40 degress. Hope to have some sort of official launch announcement before the day is out.
