Coast Guard Readies for Yearly Exercise

For my Bay Area blog readers:

Accoding to KUAM-TV.com, the U.S. Coast Guard on December 4 will launch its second annual Sea Guardian exercise. The weeklong drill involves the USCG Cutter Assateague, Palau's patrol boat the PSS President H.I. Remeliik, and the FSM's patrol boat the FSS Independence. The three crews will participate in maritime law enforcement training and exercises. The Coast Guard's Deployable Pacific Area Training Team from Alameda, California will facilitate a mock law enforcement at sea boarding and hold courtroom trials. The exercise wraps up this Friday, December 7.
